My baby is a kindergartner and my oldest is a 3rd grader. Where on earth does time go??? I have to say I am enjoying some peace and quiet during the day and I really enjoy hearing all about what the kids are learning at school and the fun things they do all day. I think that they are much more entertained at school than at home with me so its win-win for everyone! Cooper had absolutely no problem being dropped off at school on the 1st day. He was MORE than ready! Suprisingly Katelyn let me walk her to her classroom and even gave me a hug before I left (more for my benefit than hers I'm sure).
