Cooper's Baseball Party

We had Cooper's baseball themed bday party today and it was a huge success. The kids had a great time playing outside in the Gorgeous weather and enjoyed the bounce house. They also apparently had a grand ole time dumping sand all over the yard, oh well. We made a concession stand in our kitchen where we served popcorn, hot dogs, nachos, cracker jacks, cake, and ice cream. Cooper was very anxious to open gifts this year but waited pretty patiently. He tore into them very quickly and loved every last one of them. I made a baseball hat bday cake for him which turned out awesome. However, when we cut it to serve it Cooper was very upset and wanted me to put the hat back together. We are so thankful that almost everyone was able to make it and we hope that everyone had as much fun as he did. Cooper was not into verbally thanking everyone for his gifts (its a 3 year old thing) but I can assure everyone that he loved them and will be having loads of fun this week. I also wanted to share a quick story about Katelyn from this past week. The other night before bed we were reading the book "Someday" which I got her for Christmas this past year. Its an adorable book that talks about things that your daughter will be doing someday in the future. Katelyn told me she really liked the book and I told her it was very special and that someday she could pass it on to her own daughter. She then proceeded to ask me if someday she would "have a baby in my tummy." I replied "Yep, when you are all grown up and married." Her response.....
Wait for it....
"Mommy, I don't want to get marinated!"
OMG! I laughed so hard! It was the cutest thing ever! Once again we want to thank everyone for coming to Coop's party and making him feel so loved and special. Have a great week!

Coopers 3rd Birthday Celebration #1

Cooper's 3rd birthday was Sunday the 14th of September. Due to some scheduling conflicts with family we had to postpone his party until the 20th. So, on his birthday day we took him to Chuck E. Cheese despite the fact that Mommy was feeling very under the weather. Katelyn and I went to Walmart on Sat. night to pick out a special bday cake for Cooper which he LOVED! We gave him a couple gifts from us which as you can tell by the pictures he was very excited about! He had a blast at Chuck E. Cheese but I can definitely say that Chuck E. and sinus headaches do not mix and man is their pizza nasty!
