Christmas family photos

Xmas07a

We opted to not take the kids for professional pictures this year since Cooper is at an age where sitting still is impossible. Instead my friend Lisa came over and took some casual pics of us at home with her new camera! They turned out pretty cute and made fun Xmas cards.

Christmas fun!

Xmas07

Here are some more pics of family fun from Christmas at our house on Sun. the 23rd and Christmas Eve at Neumanns! As you can see Cooper is more intrigued by the giant boxes than the gifts.

Christmas morning

We actually got to spend all of Christmas day at home this year. We spent the morning opening gifts, took a long nap, played with all the new toys and gadgets. Then that evening Alyssa and Austin came over and they stayed with us until Friday night. All I can say is CRAZINESS!! But it was fun. Needless to say for the entire week our house wss full of laughing, screaming & yelling, running, and jumping, all to a constant Guitar Hero Rock music background! Man that game is addicting.

Santa visits Kenexa

Santa 07

Santa made a pit stop in mid December to Ryan's office. The kids were shy at first but actually sat on his lap this year! Then they got to eat COOKIES AGAIN!! We then went and played in Daddy's office while he finished up for the day. Cooper thought he was helping sitting at Daddy's computer. Hopefully he didn't start a company-wide virus.

Preparing for Christmas

Baking xmas cookies07

We had a couple cookie baking days before Christmas. We made homemade sugar cookies and frosted them for Christmas gifts with the help of my sister Tiffany who was home for the holidays. She then took the kids out to play in the snow. After the kids warmed up we made Christmas cookie boxes with their handprints and stamps. It was very stressful with Cooper being only 2 and wanting to do everything. He was covered head to toe in flour but I didn't get a picture of that. He liked to try to cut the cookies out of the dough before it was rolled out. Then everytime he grabbed a new cookie to frost he took a bite out of it. They had fun though which made the stress of it all worth it.

Messiah Christmas Program

Katies Xmas Program 07

Here are some pictures from Katelyn's School Christmas program. The kids were so cute. They got to sing a couple of songs and sat patiently through the rest of the program. Afterwards we had homemade cookies and hot cocoa with our family. The little girl in the pictures is Katie (one of Katelyns best friends from school).

Mid-October Pumpkin Patch pics

I apologize for not posting in a long time. My pics were on my mom's camera which I kept forgetting to get from her. I still have Halloween pics on a disposable that I haven't developed so I may post those on Valentines Day or something :) Anyway October was a fun month for us as always. We had a pumpkin patch visit, Boo at the Zoo, trick or treating at Daddy's work and of course the annual trick or treating with my sister and her kiddos in Beatrice. I have attached the album of pumpkin patch pictures. It was very cold that day but we made the best of it. We had hot chocolate and funnel cakes and took a ride out to the pumpkin patch. We decided not to actually get off of the hayrack ride and search for pumpkins b/c it was horribly muddy. Instead we picked pumpkins out up at the RocaBerry barn.
