Messiah Christmas Program 2008
These are pictures from Messiah's annual Christmas program on Dec. 5, 2008. Katelyn did an awesome job singing and made us so proud. After the program the school had cookies and coffee in the new Family Life Center which is really nice. We decided to drive around and look at Christmas lights on the way home so, needless to say, the kids were exhausted. BTW Katelyn's class sang Away in a Manger and Praise Thee the Lord. Stay tuned for a video of her singing coming soon.

Thanksgiving Celebration #2
For Thanksgiving we took a road trip to Wichita, KS to spend Thanksgiving with Ryan's brother Greg and his wife Annette. We had an awesome time. Greg had a go-cart, 2 dune buggies, some 4 wheelers, and a little clown cart thingy! The kids and Ryan and I had a blast riding them around. We are so grateful that we were able to spend the holiday with them and their family. We had a lot of laughs and were able to catch up with them. The kids have been begging to go back and ride the dune buggies some more. Thanks again to Greg and Annette for having us. We can't wait to do it again.
1st Thanksgiving day celebration
We spent the Saturday before Thanksgiving with my side of the family celebrating Thanksgiving. We ate an awesome meal at my Grandmas apt. complex and then went over to my sisters house to play board games and hang out. We had a fantastic time! I am so thankful for our family and the closeness that we share.

Halloween night
We went trick or treating in Beatice with our family and had a fantastic time. Now, what to do with all this candy?
Boo at the Zoo 2008
I'm proud to report that for the first Halloween ever we had 2 healthy kids that both got to participate in our annual traditions. Boo at the Zoo is one of our favorite events of the fall season and the kids both had a great time. Many may remember that last year Cooper didn't quite make it to the event because he threw up all over his costume on the way there and ended up with the flu. The year before that he was sick with a respiratory bug. This year he was healthy as a horse, or should I say cow. Enjoy the pics. Our only disappointment this year was that we went when it was still light outside which just doesn't quite have the same appeal as going through the zoo after dark. But we made the best of it.
